Village Supporters Make an Impact

With the support of our incredible sponsors and donors, N Street Village raised just over $2 million at this spectacular annual event. Long-time Board Chair Peter Shields and Ace Werner received the Founder's Award for their commitment to the Village. And we presented Steinbruck Awards to three extraordinary women: Faith Strong, India Frazier, and Symphony Terrell.

N Street Village Announces Interim Chief Executive Officer

N Street Village, Washington, D.C.'s largest service provider for women experiencing homelessness, today announced Portia Robertson Migas as its Interim Chief Executive Officer, and the launch of a nationwide search for a permanent CEO. Robertson Migas steps into the role replacing Kenyatta T. Brunson, who has served the Village for the past eight years and the last two as CEO.

2023 Coat Drive

Last year, you helped us provide nearly 200 women with a new coat at our Annual Coat Giveaway! This year, our goal is to collect 213 coats to ensure every woman who arrives at our doors is met with dignity, welcome, and a warm winter coat.

Sharon’s Place is Open!

N Street Village has launched Sharon’s Place, a new two-year transitional housing program for women experiencing housing instability who are working or actively job-hunting. This is the only residential employment program for women in Washington, D.C.
