Fannie Mae is no longer funding the Help the Homeless Walk, leaving us with a significant financial gap. We need YOU—our Village SHE-RO—to ensure each woman who arrives at our door is provided the resources she needs to find her inner SHE-RO despite this loss.


How Does N Street Village Help?

N Street Village serves nearly 1,400 homeless and low-income women each year. We are the largest provider of women-only services for D.C.'s homeless population.

Keeping Our Promise

Over the years, we have worked to maintain our promise to our city's most vulnerable, uninterrupted. We've increased our housing, expanded our health offerings, and grown our employment services. In order to keep our promise, we are planning for the renovation of our buildings, along with several critical expansion projects. Learn more...

An Evening to Remember

At our 40th Anniversary Gala we celebrated those in our community who help homeless and low-income women make positive changes in their lives and honored the achievements of our clients. This year's Gala welcomed nearly 600 friends and raised more than $760,000.

Join N Street Village and Luther Place Memorial Church on Sunday October 26 as we celebrate the release of a the book Breaking Bread, which documents how an interfaith coalition led by Luther Place responded to the homeless challenge in Washington, D.C. over the last 40 years. All are welcome!
