96% of N Street Village’s Working Clients Keep Their Jobs

In our Education and Employment Center, our work doesn’t end when our clients find employment. We provide ongoing support to women to help them keep their jobs.

Today, 96% of working clients connected to our Education and Employment Center held their jobs longer than 90 days, compared to the national average of 60% employment retention rate for women experiencing homelessness.

For N Street Village resident Carol, continuing to work with our Education and Employment Center after over a year and a half of successful and steady employment offers her a professional edge. She receives advice from our staff on negotiating salary and benefits and financial management best practices, and enjoys ongoing support and mentorship from her peers.
