As we navigate through these unprecedented and cautious times, the health and safety of the N Street Village community — clients, staff, volunteers and supporters — is paramount. We are working closely with our city government partners and leaders to prepare and respond to the rapidly changing climate.

Across the Village’s five locations we serve hundreds of women every day and provide housing and shelter for nearly 400 women on any given night. With guidance from the DC Department of Health, the CDC, and the WHO we have taken measures such as:

The Village relies on our incredible volunteers to support the mission and women with meal service, wellness classes and other activities. In an abundance of caution, we are pausing all volunteer activities and Village tours until further notice.
