10th Annual Empowerment Luncheon Featured Speaker, Lolita Mitchell

The N Street Village Annual Empowerment Luncheon raises awareness about women’s homelessness, poverty, and health. Last year we welcomed more than 300 supporters, including local business and government leaders. This year we invite old and new supporters to celebrate the positive changes we can make together in the lives of our city’s most vulnerable women.

On June 9, 2016, over 700 guests gathered with keynote speaker Oprah Winfrey, to hear Lolita’s story of overcoming hardship and empowering her peers.
