Join us for Family and Friends Garden Day on Saturday, April 26, from 10:00AM-12:00PM
Filling our community garden with flowers gives our clients and residents a safe place to relax, decompress, and enjoy the beauty of nature around them.
Help us create a beautiful oasis for the women we serve. Here are three ways for you to participate:
1. Help with planting on the day of the event. Volunteer slots are limited, so please reserve your spot by filling out the registration form below. If you have any further questions, please contact Heidi at hgauthier@www.nstreetvillage.org.
2. Purchase flowers and deliver them to our Flagship location on Saturday, April 26. Staff will accept flowers at the Flagship courtyard (1333 N Street N.W.) between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. We will be planting: Petunias, Geraniums, Marigolds, Impatiens, and Begonias. This is a great opportunity if you can’t assist with planting but want to say a quick hello.
3. Donate funds to cover the cost of flowers, and we will purchase them for you. For example:
- $34 can buy 4 Petunias
- $51 can buy 6 Geraniums
- $97 can sponsor a 3X3 garden plot
