Please join us for Family and Friends Garden Day Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 10:00am-12:00pm.
Last year we filled the community garden space with flowers as way to remember, celebrate, and give thanks to our Village friends for their support during the pandemic. The residents at our Flagship location loved the flower garden so much we are honoring the request of the residents to fill courtyard with flowers.
Share photos and videos of your own gardens and/or beautifying your own communities. You can send your photos to Silvia Oakland at soakland@www.nstreetvillage.org or tag N Street Village on social media with the hashtag #VillageVictoryGardens.
Three Ways to Participate:
1. Purchase flowers & deliver them to our Flagship location on Saturday, May 14th
Staff will be accepting flowers from the Flagship courtyard (1333 N Street NW) between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for someone who can’t assist with planting and would like to share a quick hello. Here’s for a list of flowers we are seeking:
Petunias
Geraniums
Marigolds
Impatiens
Begonias
2.Volunteer
Volunteer slots are limited, to reserve your spot to help with planting on this day, please reserve your time with Heidi Gauthier at hgauthier@www.nstreetvillage.org.
3. Donate to cover the cost of flowers and we will purchase them for you.
$28 can buy 4 petunias
$47 can buy 10 geraniums
$90 can sponsor a 3X3 garden plot
