About Libby Rasmussen

Originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Libby Rasmussen was born a cheese enthusiast. Her father worked at a dairy farm & showed cows for most of his adolescent years. Libby followed in his footsteps by being an active 4-H member in her county. Bringing the spirit of Wisconsin to Washington, DC, Libby has hosted numerous cheese-tasting parties & has privately catered large-scale (one was 20+ feet long) cheese boards and grazing tables around the country.

In 2020, Libby became a Founding Wisconsin Cheeselandia Councilmember with the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin. During her time in this role, she has traveled around the state of Wisconsin, learning from and meeting with local dairy farmers, Master Cheesemakers, and Certified Cheese Professionals.

Libby continues to share slices of her cheese knowledge through cheeseboard classes & creating cheesy content, of course! You can find her on Instagram @libbyliviingcolorfully.
