Family & Friends Day Reimagined

This year, in lieu of our Annual Family & Friends Garden Day, we are asking family and friends to help the women of N Street Village by sharing a piece of your own beautiful home gardens. Consider dedicating a corner of your vegetable garden to N Street Village so we can share your harvests with our Day Center kitchen and the women in our permanent supportive housing this summer.

In addition, we invite you to share photos and videos of you beautifying your own homes and communities while giving well wishes to the Village. The virus may be keeping us at home, but it won’t keep us from sharing the bounty of Spring among our entire Village community! You can send your photos to me at hgauthier@nstreetvillage.org or tag N Street Village on social media with the hashtag #VillageVictoryGardens.

Don’t have your own garden but still want to support?

N Street Village has teamed up with local artists to design a #VillageVictoryGarden coloring kit. With a $5 donation to support the women of the Village, you can download and color these incredible prints graciously designed by Marcella Kriebel, Samantha Testa of Painted Palettes, Cris Clapp Logan, Jodi Kostelnik  of The Neighorgoods, Torie Partridge of Cherry Blossom Creative, and Carlos Carmonamedina. Be sure to share your artwork using the #VillageVictoryGardens hashtag and tag the artists! We cannot wait to see what you create.

In addition, consider donating to the Village garden to provide healthy produce for our kitchen.
