Eden House

Eden House is a fifty-one unit apartment complex housed in one side of the eight story N Street Village building, near Thomas Circle in Northwest DC. Construction of this modern project was completed in 1998.

The apartments include such amenities as central air conditioning, ample closets, wall-to-wall carpets and all-electric kitchens with dishwasher and disposer. Several of the apartments are designed for the comfort of disabled residents. Residents also have access to an indoor parking garage, a roof deck and a mulit-purpose room. The building has a telephone entry system and a reception desk that is staffed each day until midnight.

While some of the first residents of Eden House were graduates of the N Street Village program, the one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments are open to all low and moderate income families and individuals. Residents are certified annually through procedures established by HUD and the IRS. Rents are maintained at 50-75% of the prevailing market rent for the area.
