Painting Profits to Benefit N Street Village
2/2/2010
The image from this year’s Luther Place Memorial Church's Christmas cards can now be purchased as prints for a limited time only! 70% of the profit will go to support N Street Village!

The painting, entitled “The Holy Homeless,” was created by Luther Place staff member Amanda Weber, as a way to envelop the spirit of Christmas on the block. The painting depicts N Street in Northwest DC, with N Street Village on the left side and Luther Place Church on the right. Mary and Joseph are coming down the street seeking “room in the inn” for baby Jesus. The Holy homeless family is surrounded by other Holy Homeless in a place of welcome, community, and shalom. Weber, who also painted the mural of Saint Francis at Luther Place, says she was “thrilled that N Street’s Christmas message was able to be shared with so many people,” as Luther Place sold over 1,200 Christmas cards this year. “We look forward to what next year might bring!”
Purchase an original size print (22 x 28 inches) of The Holy Homeless painting- $100 for a poster print, or $150 if the posters are mounted to 1/4 inch foamcore backing. 70% of the profit will go to support N Street Village.
