N Street Village Accepts a Variety of Fully Functioning,
Gently Used, and New In-Kind Donations.
 Avoid making a appointment to have your donations dropped off. Have your donations shipped directly to N Street Village.
Receiving items through donations continues to keep the N Street Village operating budget as low as possible. Thank you for continuing to support the work of N Street Village through your generous giving.
In-Kind Donations are accepted by appointment only. Call the Community Outreach Coordinator, John Eskate, at 202-939-2075 to schedule a drop off time.

We can no longer accept donations of clothing, toothbrushes, hair conditioner, bars of soap, dish sets, kitchen glasses, coffee mugs, stilettos.
To keep up with the changes of 2009, N Street Village is in need of Converter Boxes for ladies with analog televisions. We are ALSO in need of Antennas !
Our Top 5 In-Kind Donation Needs: 1) Sanitary Pads (we do not need tampons.) 2) Bras: 36-44 B to C 3) Full/Queen Bed Sheet Sets (NEW) 4) Bath Towels

Luther Place Night Shelter needs a Refrigerator/freezer for their dining room; Their freezer is no longer working.
Angela is moving into a new apartment and is in need of a TV and DVD player.
The N Street Village Food Pantry is looking a bit bare. Please let us know if your church, work place, or social club would like to organize a food drive for us!
N Street Village's MOST current needs are: Giant & Safeway gift cards ($10 and $25), new bras (can be found on our Target Wish List), belts, pretty hats, sanitary pads, toilet paper, cleaning supplies (all-purpose cleaners, air fresheners, Windex, etc.).
Please save all other toiletry items until further notice is given. Thank You!
N Street Village Accepts Non-Perishable Food Donations.
Preferred food items include: fresh produce, diabetes friendly drinks, brown rice, dry beans, canned salmon and chicken, low sodium canned vegetables, canned fruit in own juice, whole grain cereal whole grain pasta, and oatmeal.
Other food needs include: black pepper, tea, coffee, complete pancake mix, grits, fruit juice, garlic powder, tuna, olive oil, snack food, vegetable oil, pasta sauce.
The most current needs of the N Street Village Residential Programs, Wellness Center, and N Street Village’s day center, Bethany Women’s Center are listed below.
Houseware Closet needs non-stick frying pans, cast-iron pans, can-openers, coffeemakers, and medium-sized pots with lids.
Permanent Supportive Housing needs ironing board & iron, cleaning supplies (sponges, air freshener, anti-bacterial spray, anything for kitchens and bathroom), trash cans with a step, and family DVDs.
Recovery Housing needs under bed storage containers, Brand New Towels and Wash Clothes, Bed Covers (platic, twin sized, with zippers), African American Hair Products, and air fresheners.
Transitional Housing needs dust mops/Swiffers and Floor Rugs.
Luther Place Night Shelter needs cleaning supplies (Lysol, glass cleaner, pine cleaner, bathtub cleaner, bleach, antibacterial soap), 3 curtains for dorm doorways, 26-30 non-cloth chairs for dining room, and Rubbermaid containers.
Case Management needs Metro smart trip cards with money on them.
The Wellness Center is in need of baby aspirin, mucinex (guaifenesin), saline eye solution, Dr. Scholl's gel inserts, Dr. Scholl's antifungal powder, bunion pads, exercise balls, resistance bands, medicine balls, dumbbells, and calipers. Constant medical needs include: 1% cortisone cream, alcohol free cough syrup, antifungal cream, band aids, daily medicine dispensers, depends, disposable hot/cold packs, eye wash, hand sanitizer, head lice shampoo/treatment, kleenex, non latex gloves, pepto-bismol, sugar free cough drops, topical cream for itching.
Bethany Women's Center needs Towels, Wash cloths, DVDs (non violent), Depends, African American women hair products (hair oil, comb brush), Rolling suitcases, Strong cloth bags w/ handles (Whole Foods Bags), Plus sized sweat suits, bras, and underwear
