Volunteer

N Street Village could not operate without our dedicated volunteers. Volunteers help us continue to provide the best quality of care to the homeless and very low-income women in our community. It is our hope that volunteering with N Street Village provides you an opportunity, not only for service, but also to expand your understanding of the complexity of homelessness; an issue that affects us all.

Because we are a twenty-four hour a day, three-hundred and sixty-five days a year facility we have a variety of volunteer opportunities sure to meet your interests and availability. To begin volunteering, please review the volunteer opportunity descriptions below. Complete the Volunteer Information Sheet and email it to the Manager of Volunteer and In-kind Services at info@nstreetvillage.org. After returning it to us, we will contact you with the times of upcoming volunteer orientation sessions.

The following calendars list our volunteer needs for the next two months.  Any dates marked in red are days for which no one has signed up, and the openings marked in green are jobs for which we have a volunteer, but it would be great if someone could help out the scheduled volunteer.  And if a need is marked (F) we need a female to volunteer, and (M) for a male.
