Individual Volunteers
N Street Village could not operate without our dedicated volunteers. Volunteers help us continue to provide the best quality of care to the homeless and very low-income women in our community. It is our hope that volunteering with N Street Village provides you an opportunity, not only for service, but also to expand your understanding of the complexity of homelessness; an issue that affects us all.

Please note that our meal serving opportunities are limited and fill up quickly. Please check our online calenders below to see our current needs. If you are interested in leading a class in the Wellness Center, we ask that you provide a syllabus for the course you would like to teach. Our most urgent need is for overnight supervision volunteers at N Street Village's Luther Place Night Shelter.
Getting Started: Complete the Individual Volunteer Information Form and email it to the Manager of Volunteers and In-Kind Services, Kate Akalonu, at kakalonu@nstreetvillage.org.
PLEASE NOTE: The Manager of Volunteers and In-Kind Services will be back in the office on September 1, 2010 to sign you up for an orientation. Please look for a response after September 1st. Thank you!
After submitting your individual volunteer information form the Manager of Volunteer and In-kind Services will help you sign up for a volunteer orientation. All N Street Village volunteers take part in an orientation before they being their service. Orientations occur every other Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30pm.
