- FY2011 Annual Report
In FY2011 (July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011) we increased women’s access to mental health and crisis services, expanded peer leadership programs, and forged new partnership to improve women’s physical health. 887 homeless and low-income women received access to our housing, employment, mental health, physical health, and addiction recovery programs. - FY2010 Annual Report
In FY2010 (July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010) we launched a new trauma-informed care project, celebrated the success of the first women hired from our innovative WISE job training and placement program, and expanded our health care offerings through a partnership with Unity Health Care. We also highlighted the success stories of Rene, Barbara, and Joyce -- three inspiring clients of N Street Village.
- FY2008 - 2009 Annual Report
This Annual Report, which covers the period from January 2008-June 2009, celebrates our clients' participation in the People’s Ball and a Capitol Hill press conference; a luncheon visit from a former HUD Secretary; our NAMI award; and two new client volunteer initiatives (Senior Peer Group and Team N Street). It also features the remarkable story of former client Audrey McMorrow.
- FY2007 Annual Report
In 2007, N Street Village hosted the Dalai Lama, Anna Roosevelt, and Dominique Dawes. Three of our clients were featured on Michel Martin's "Tell Me More" on NPR. Executive Director Mary Funke was honored with the GELMAN Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership. But our best accomplishment of the year was that we provided services and support to 780 women, representing one-third of the homeless women in Washington, DC.
